Steven Wilson Confirms Arena Shows In Nottingham And London As Part Of The Future Bites Tour

Monday, 21 October 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Steven Wilson has announced arena shows in Nottingham and London.

As part of the European leg of The Future Bites Tour, the Porcupine Tree founder will perform at the Motorpoint Arena on September 17 and the O2 Arena in Greenwich two days later. Tickets for the shows go on general sale at 10am on October 25.

Following his tour for 2017's 'To The Bone' LP, the prog-rock legend will accompanied by his band for eight shows at the biggest venues he's headlined. Meanwhile, he's currently putting the finishing touches to his sixth solo record alongside producer David Kosten, due for release in summer 2020. He said:

"Every time I make a new album, it's hugely important for me that it holds a unique place in my catalogue and won't simply be more of the same. Moving into the third decade of the 21st century and my second decade as a touring solo artist, it felt like time to apply the same philosophy to the live experience.

"I want to challenge myself to create something that confronts my own notions (and hopefully the audience's too) of how to present my music in a concert situation. This has become The Future Bites - a series of special events at larger venues, something on a grander and more immersive scale. I'm already hugely excited about them!"

Steven Wilson Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Thu September 17 2020 - NOTTINGHAM Motorpoint Arena
Sat September 19 2020 - LONDON O2 Arena
