The Orb Confirm UK Shows For Spring, Announce New Album 'Abolition Of The Royal Familia'

The Orb have confirmed six shows for spring.
The electronic group will play shows in Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Bristol during May. Tickets go on sale at 10am on December 11.
The Orb will be performing greatest hits plus tracks from their upcoming 17th album, 'Abolition of the Royal Familia', out on March 27 via Cooking Vinyl. The record is partly inspired by and a protest to the royal family's historical endorsement of the East India Company’s opium trade.
Head below the listen to the record's swirling, ambient first single, Pervitin (Empire Culling & The Hemlock Stone Version), which sits on the tracklist alongside collaborations with Youth, Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy, GAUDI, David Harrow, Roger Eno and Jah Wobble, among others, with the latter two also both part of the Orb’s live band in 2020.
Additionally, the Orb will be part of next summer's All Points East Festival in London, performing on May 29 alongside Kraftwerk, Iggy Pop, Grandmaster Flash and more.
