The Orb and Ozric Tentacles will team up for a co-headline UK tour in the autumn.
The tour will sweep through major cities across the UK, including Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, London, Aberdeen, Nottingham and Birmingham, starting in mid-November and wrapping up in early December. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (January 30).
The Orb (pictured), led by Alex Paterson with Michael Rendall, remain at the forefront of the underground ambient electronic music scene, releasing their 18th studio album, 'Buddhist Hipsters', last October.
They'll hit the road for their first dates of the year next month, followed by shows in the spring and summer, tickets for which are on sale now.
Bridging '70s psych-rock and dance/festival culture, Ozric Tentacles have put out 17 albums to date, the latest being 2023's 'Lotus Unfolding', released during their 40th anniversary year. Last year, they dropped a version of Todd Rundgren's Hello It's Me.
They also have several headline shows scheduled for the autumn, with tickets on sale at 10am Friday.
