The Libertines To Headline First Live At Scorrier House Event In August

The Libertines will headline a new event in Cornwall next summer.
Live At Scorrier House will take place in the 10,000-capacity grounds of the Scorrier House Estate on August 29, with special guests due to be revealed early next year. It's being organised by the people responsible for The Great Estate festival, which is held in the same venue.
Early bird tickets are on sale, priced from £35.00 plus fees. Event director Ben Hall said:
"Myself and the team have been eager to create a Rock event for quite some time now as we feel there is a gap in the music scene here. It has been a big ambition to host a one-day concert featuring a string of incredible live acts and a big headliner. Scorrier House is a brilliant venue and is perfect for an event of this style. This will be the first time The Libertines have played in Cornwall which is a fantastic prospect for Live at Scorrier House.”
The announcement arrives towards the end of the band's current UK tour, which will conclude in Margate Winter Gardens on December 22. They'll also headline the Sunday Sessions at Earlham Park in Norwich on May 24.
