The Psychedelic Furs have announced a spring London show, where they'll be showcasing their upcoming eigth studio record and more.
Led by singer Richard Butler and his bassist brother Tim Butler, the influential post-punks will release their first album in nearly 30 years, 'Made Of Rain', through Cooking Vinyl on May 1, two months shy of the 29th anniversary of their last album, 1991's 'World Outside'.
Produced by current Guns N' Roses member Richard Fortus, who joined the Butlers in their '90s band Love Spit Love, the 12-track record is preceded by the single Don’t Believe, which comes straight from the Furs' wheelhouse with moody guitars, saxophone and a big chorus.
Following the album's release, the band will be joined by special guest Jah Wobble at the Royal Albert Hall on May 14, with tickets for the show on general sale at 10am on February 7. As well as performing 'Made Of Rain' in its entirety, they'll run through a set of greatest hits.
'Made Of Rain' tracklist:
1. The Boy That Invented Rock & Roll
2. Don’t Believe
3. You’ll Be Mine
4. Wrong Train
5. This’ll Never Be Like Love
6. Ash Wednesday
7. Come All Ye Faithful
