Janet Jackson Announces New Album 'Black Diamond' And Accompanying North American Tour

Janet Jackson will return to the road in 2020 in support of a new studio album.
Following the success of 2015's Unbreakable World Tour, the first leg of the Black Diamond Tour will get underway on June 24 in Miami, with stops lined up in 34 cities across North America.
The tour shares its name with the icon's upcoming 12th studio album, which is yet to receive a release date, though it's expected to arrive by the end of the year via Jackson's Rhythm Nation imprint and BMG.
Each show is set to feature both music from 'Black Diamond' plus material from her discography, including a special run through of her 1989 album 'Rhythm Nation 1814' to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on February 13.
