Robert Plant's Saving Grace Plot Summer Scottish Tour

Monday, 09 March 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Robert Plant's Saving Grace will embark on a Scottish tour this summer.

The legendary Led Zeppelin singer and his new band have lined up low-key performances in Edinburgh, Inverness, Aberdeen, Fort William, Perth and Glasgow during July, with support coming from Catfish Keith. Their plans also include dates in Whitley Bay and York, with tickets for all shows on general sale at 9am on March 13.

The announcement follows news of the band's North American debut, which will see them playing a handful of similarly intimate venues in the US in May. They also appear at the UK's Black Deer and Mouth of the Tyne festivals in June and July, respectively.

Saving Grace comprises of Plant alongside fellow vocalist Suzi Dian, percussionist Oli Jefferson, and guitarists Tony Kelsey and Matt Worley. They perform material inspired by a plethora of diverse influences, including Plant's love of Welsh Marches, British and American folk and traditional blues.
