Slipknot Cancel Knotfest UK And North American Knotfest Roadshow Due To COVID-19

Thursday, 14 May 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Slipknot have cancelled all of their upcoming 2020 tour plans due to COVID-19.

The masked metallers will no longer take the annual Knotfest Roadshow across North America during May and June, or embark on their first Knotfest At Sea cruise in August — though it will return in 2021.

They were also due to headline and curate the inaugural Knotfest UK at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes on August 22, returning to the huge open-air venue for the first time since their 2001 Ozzfest performance.

A statement from the band advises all ticket holders will be emailed with refund details, while Knotfest At Sea ticket holders will receive postponement information.

The band were hitting the road in support of their 2019 album, 'We Are Not Your Kind'.
