Pearl Jam Release Video Starring Greta Thunberg For 'Gigaton' Track Retrograde

Friday, 15 May 2020 Written by Stereoboard

Pearl Jam have released an animated video for Retrograde.

The Josh Wakely-directed clip addresses the climate emergency and features Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg. The track, meanwhile, is taken from the band's new album, 'Gigaton', that arrived in March.

Pearl Jam were forced to postpone the spring North American leg of their Gigaton Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. Their summer European tour was also subsequently postponed, with their only UK show of the year as part of the BST Hyde Park series in London being cancelled — refunds are being issued.
