Refused have dropped a video for their new single, Born On The Outs.
The fiery political track landed earlier in October and will feature on the Swedish band's upcoming EP, 'The Malignant Fire', due out on November 20 via Spinefarm Records UK.
Covering Swedish House Mafia's hit Greyhound, Refused fleshed out the instrumental with some lyrics and put their own impassioned sound to it. It'll appear on the EP alongside three new songs from the quintet. Singer Dennis Lyxzen said:
"Kris has talked about the riff in the Swedish House Mafia song Greyhound forever, so we decided to give it our own spin. David and I added some lyrics for this version, which we've called Born On The Outs. Make no mistake though; this is very much Greyhound, but with added lyrics about people who refused to take a side in the ongoing fight against fascism. So, you know, another ordinary Refused song."
Refused's last full-length came in the form of 2019's 'War Music'.
