Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, Gary Oldman To Partake In David Bowie Celebration Livestream Event

An all-star line up has been confirmed for A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day!.

Scheduled to take place on January 8, on what would have been the late David Bowie’s 74th birthday, the livestream tribute will honour the fifth anniversary of his passing.

Organised by Bowie’s longtime pianist Mike Garson, the event is set to celebrate the life and music of one of the most influential artists of all time. He explained in a statement:

“What we’re planning is an amazing show with the most talented musicians from every period of David’s career, as well as phenomenal artists from many different genres.

“We’ll hear different interpretations of David’s songs; some with totally new arrangements that have never been heard before.”

The virtual festival will host some of the legendary musician’s closest collaborators, including producer Tony Visconti, alongside members of his final touring band.

The show is also scheduled to welcome performances from the likes of Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan, Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman and Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction, among others. Head below for further details.
