Michael Kiwanuka has moved his UK tour for a second time.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the soul singer-songwriter will now call in Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Cambridge, Blackpool, Hull, Manchester, Newcastle, Brighton, Plymouth and London during May 2022. A handwritten note from Kiwanuka accompanying the revised dates reads:

"I want you all to know that it truly is an understatement when I say how much I’ve missed seeing you out on the road at shows. I was so excited to give you Kiwanuka live. Myself and the band had been working hard to put together a live show that reflects how much your love and support means to me.

"However, even though we've been receiving some very good news through the vaccine, and we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel, I will sadly still have to postpone the planned UK tour."

His previously rearranged show at Dublin's Trinity College summer series in June, along with a rescheduled performance at the Edinburgh Summer Sessions in August currently remain unaffected.

The tour is in support of the 33-year-old's Mercury Prize-winning latest album, 'Kiwanuka', released in 2019. Original tickets will be honoured, with the remainder on sale now.
