Simple Minds have rescheduled their 40 Years Of Hits Tour for a second time to 2022 due to COVID-19.
They will now kick off the trek at the SSE Arena Wembley in London on March 31 and conclude it at Dublin's 3Arena on April 17.
Following the UK and Ireland leg, the Scottish band will play in Amsterdam and Antwerp in the Netherlands. Original tickets are valid and the remaining tickets are on sale now. A statement from management reads:
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation and uncertainty surrounding the easing of restrictions, the Simple Minds August and September 2021 shows have been postponed. The rearranged dates will instead take place in March and April 2022.
Customers are advised to keep hold of their tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates.
Their date at Belfast's Custom House Square on August 23 of this year remains unaffected. They also have a performance as part of the Nocturne Live concert series at Blenheim Palace in the diary for June 2022.
In 2019, they released their greatest hits collection, '40: The Best Of - 1979-2019’, along with a live album, 'Live In The City Of Angels'.
