SG Lewis Announces Second Album 'AudioLust & HigherLove', Shares Two New Songs

SG Lewis has announced his second studio album.
The ambitious follow-up to his 2021 debut 'Times' is called 'AudioLust & HigherLove' and will arrive on January 27 via PMR/EMI Records.
As a preview, the London-based singer-songwriter and electronic producer has shared the double single Infatuation and Vibe Like This. The former is a disco-inspired house tune with ethereal vocals, while the latter takes the form of a slick pop track with an R&B edge, featuring guest spots from Ty Dolla $ign and Lucky Daye. Lewis said:
"The album is clearly split into two worlds. AudioLust is the darker, lusty, infatuated, short-lived, and ego-driven version of love. The second half represents a much deeper, actualized, and fulfilled version of love. Songs fall on either half of the record. I feel like I exist in the space between DJing and being an artist.
"The bulk of the album was written across a series of intensive studio residencies in the height of the pandemic, with the help of some incredibly talented friends, and allowed me to explore myself as an artist in a way that I would never have dared before."
The news follows his July double a-side single, Missing You and Something About Your Love. Lewis appears at Portola Festival in San Francisco this weekend (September 24), before an extensive North American trek beginning in October.
