James Blake Announces New Album 'Playing Robots Into Heaven' And Accompanying Tour

James Blake has announced a new album.
The Grammy Award-winning artist and producer will put out 'Playing Robots Into Heaven' on September 8 through Polydor/ Republic Records, following up 2021's 'Friends That Break Your Heart'. As a preview he's shared the first single, Big Hammer, which arrives with a video directed by Oscar Hudson.
He'll support the new record with a tour of the same name, the European leg of which will conclude with a London show at Alexandra Palace on September 28. The North American leg will then run throughout October.
Tickets for the North American dates go on general sale at 10am local time this Friday (June 30). Tickets for the UK and Europe go on sale at 10am on July 7.
