Shabazz Palaces Announce New Mini-Album 'Exotic Birds Of Prey'

Shabazz Palaces have announced a new mini-album.
The seven-song 'Exotic Birds of Prey' will arrive via Sub Pop on March 29, promptly following up 'Robed In Rareness', another mini-album that came out in October 2023.
As a preview, Shabazz Palaces mastermind and multi-hyphenate artist Ishmael Butler has shared the lead single, Angela. It's a dark, experimental electro and hip hop fusion, with lyrical wordplay coming from Stas Thee Boss and Irene Barber.
'Exotic Birds of Prey' also features guest spots from Japreme Magnetic, OCNotes, Cobra Coil, Purple Tape Nate, and Lavarr the Starr.
