Built around prominent metallic guitar riffs, the rowdy Gift Horse serves as the latest preview of the Bristol post-punks' Nigel Godrich-produced album, 'TANGK', which is due out on February 16. Introducing the new song, vocalist Joe Talbot commented:
"Look at us go! Music and movement for you and yours. Be bold and ride us like the disco donkeys we are."
Produced by Godrich, Kenny Beats and lead guitarist Bowen, the track follows the previously unveiled cuts from the record Grace and Dancer, which features backing vocals from LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Nancy Whang.
The five-piece will support the follow-up to 2021's Grammy-nominated 'Crawler' with a European tour beginning in late February, before tour dates in North America, Mexico, the UK and Ireland. Tickets are on sale now.
They've also just confirmed tiny out-store gigs at Pryzm in Kingston and Electric Brixton in London, and a homecoming at The Marble Factory in Bristol, all hosted by Rough Trade. Tickets for those shows go on sale at 10am on Friday (January 19).
