Chappell Roan has dropped a new single, Good Luck, Babe!
Coupling '80s synth-pop influences with heartfelt vocals, the track arrives via Amusement/Island Records on the heels of the Missouri-born artist's supporting dates on the spring North American leg of Olivia Rodrigo's Guts World Tour. Introducing the song, Roan said:
"I needed to write a song about a common situationship within queer relationships — where someone is struggling with coming to terms with themselves. It’s a song about wishing well to someone who is avoidant of their true feelings."
In March, Roan scheduled the European leg of The Midwest Princess Tour, which includes stops in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin in September. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
The singer-songwriter will play a show in Pittsburgh tonight (April 5) as part of the North American run of the trek, which takes its name from her 2023 debut album, 'The Rise and Fall Of A Midwest Princess'.
She also has headline shows lined up throughout the summer, as well as a number of festivals slots, including appearances at Coachella, Bonnaroo and Boston Calling.
