ImageBabyshambles are set to return to the studio to work on their new album.

The Pete Doherty fronted band, who were reportedly dropped from their record label on the weekend, are also said to be in discussions with a number of recording labels regarding a new deal, which also includes Rough Trade.

According to Drowned In Sound, the band have been offered free recording time at London's Turnmills Studio by organisers of the Get Loaded Festival which Babyshambles will headline on August 27th.

The band released the following statement earlier today: ""We feel it's now time to focus on the music, rather than the negative media attention we've recently experienced. The music has gone in a different direction than people might expect, and reflects the challenging times since Down In Albion; it's both reflective and optimistic."
