Machine Head Announce 11th Studio Album 'Unatøned' With New Single Unbøund

Machine Head have laid out plans for their 11th studio album.
The follow-up to 2022's 'Øf Kingdøm And Crøwn' is titled 'Unatøned' and will arrive through Nuclear Blast Records on April 25.
Written while on the road for their recent world tour, and inspired by the raw energy of their live shows, it was recorded at frontman Robb Flynn's Jam Room, Sharkbite Studios, and Drop Of Sun Recording between July 2023 and December 2024. Flynn also co-produced the record with Zack Ohren.
To coincide with the news, the Oakland metal giants have shared the new single Unbøund, which offers their signature ferocious, thrashy grooves, tight guitar riffs and Flynn's aggressive, growling vocals. Head below to check out the accompanying video, directed by Mike Sloat.
The band first teased the LP in November, when they dropped These Scars Won't Define Us, a collaboration with members of In Flames, Lacuna Coil and Unearth.
Those three bands will accompany Machine Head on a previously scheduled North American tour this spring. Following that, Machine Head will headline the UK's Bloodstock Festival in August. Tickets are on sale now.
