Barry Can't Swim has announced his second studio album.

The Edinburgh-born DJ will release 'Loner' through Ninja Tune on July 11, following up his Mercury Prize-nominated 2023 debut, 'When Will We Land?'.

Comprising 12 tracks, it'll feature collaborations with O'Flynn and Séamus, and includes the producer's recent single, The Person You'd Like To Be, and the newly shared Different, a propulsive, club-ready track. On the record, he commented:

"If my first album was a collage of all the music I loved and was inspired by growing up, then this album is the most authentic expression I could offer of myself and my life over the past year.

"I feel immensely privileged to get to make music for a living, and to be allowed the breathing space to just focus my attention fully on writing an album. It really is a dream. I can’t wait for it to be out, thank you all for listening."

Barry Can't Swim will headline All Points East at Victoria Park in London on August 22, alongside topping the bill of Bristol's Forwards series on August 23, and appearing at Lost Village Festival in Lincolnshire that same month.

He'll also play Lollapalooza Brasil on March 30, BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Liverpool on May 23, and Bonnaroo in Tennessee on June 15. Tickets are on sale.

1. The Person You’d Like To Be
