Forwards is a new inner city music festival based in Bristol.
Launched in 2022, the festival spans over two days and champions music as a means of positive change. Hosting two music stages, plus a space for debate on current affairs and cultural issues and more, featuring experts, activists, artists and thinkers, it has previously hosted performances from Jamie xx, The Chemical Brothers, Little Simz, Khruangbin, Fred Again.., Floating Points, Kojey Radical, Roisin Murphy, Caribou, Sleaford Mods, Kae Tempest, Self Esteem and many more. Forwards Festival will return to Bristol Downs in September 2023, featuring headliners Erykah Badu, Bonobo and Aphex Twin, plus Raye, Confidence Man, Primal Scream, Arlo Parks, Leftfield, Amyl & The Sniffers, Viagra Boys, Jockstrap and much more.
