In a first for the London concert series, BST Hyde Park will host PDC Presents The Hyde Park Darts Championship this summer.
A PDC darts Pro-Am tournament featuring top players Luke Humphries, Luke Littler, Michael van Gerwen and Fallon Sherrock will take place on July 8 on the iconic venue's Great Oak Stage in front of a live audience
Chief Executive at PDC, Matthew Porter said: “We’re really looking forward to putting on a world class darts show as part of this year’s BST Hyde Park Open House Festival. It’s an iconic part of British Summer Time and darts is an iconic part of British culture so to bring the two together is a really exciting concept and we can’t wait for what will be a fun, entertaining evening.”
The event, which will also feature special guests Olly Murs, Roman Kemp and Dion Dublin, forms part of the BST Hyde Park Open House midweek series of events. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on May 2.
This summer's BST Hyde Park will see Olivia Rodrigo headline on June 27, Zach Bryan on June 28 and 29, Noah Kahan on July 4, Sabrina Carpenter on July 5 and 6, followed by Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts on July 11, Stevie Wonder on July 12, and Jeff Lynne’s ELO on July 13. Tickets are on sale now.
