Lil Wayne has announced the Tha Carter VI Tour.
Supporting his new album of the same name, the Louisiana hip hop star will travel across North America this summer, with dates running into early fall.
The trek will kick off with a previously scheduled show at New York City's Madison Square Garden this Friday (June 6), the day the new record drops, before further dates beginning on July 30 in Bristow, Virginia and wrapping up in West Palm Beach on October 2.
Support will come from special guests Tyga and Belly Gang Kushington, with special guest NoCap joining for the dates in Virginia Beach, Houston, Atlanta, Orlando and West Palm Beach. The shows in New York City and Oklahoma will feature Lil Wayne only. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (June 6).
In addition to the tour, the rapper has a run of club shows in Las Vegas scheduled for the summer. Tickets for those gigs are on sale now.
'Tha Carter VI' marks the sixth instalment in the rapper's 'Tha Carter' series and first since 'Tha Carter V' in 2018. Since then, he has featured on a number of tracks by other artists, and dropped various projects, including 2023's 'Tha Fix Before Tha VI'.
