A cathartic blend of hyperpop and alt-rock, Neckdeep follows the Los Angeles-based alt-pop star's June single, Hush, and arrives amid her shows on the idobi Radio Summer SchoolTourin the US. The trek will continue a performance in Silver Spring, Maryland tonight (August 5). She'll also play the Vans Warped Tour in Orlando in November.
"Neckdeep is a song about the realization you’re no longer a priority in your relationship and the desperation that comes with wanting to be seen," Sands explained. "It captures the chaos that comes with being pushed past your breaking points and constantly existing on the edge of helplessness and revenge."
A fully independent artist, Sands released her latest album, 'Can We Start Over?', in 2024, which she supported with a world tour. She has also performed alongside the likes of My Chemical Romance, 5 Seconds Of Summer and Yungblud.
