Witch Fever have shared the title track of their upcoming sophomore album.
The brooding then explosive genre-blurring track is the third to be shared from 'FEVEREATEN', which is due for release on October 31 through Music For Nations/Sony. The track draws inspiration from vocalist and lyricist Amy Walpole's past in the Charismatic Church. She said:
“I wrote ‘FEVEREATEN’ when I realised I couldn’t stop myself writing about the church. It’s about feeling drained by that fixation and being consumed by intrusive thoughts. I’m angry that I struggle more than others and feel like a burden - but I’m also determined to hold onto that anger and use it productively.”
The Manchester band previously teased the follow-up to 2022's 'Congregation' with the singles The Garden and Dead To Me!.
The four-piece will next hit the road to support Volbeat on their UK and European arena tour, which runs from September to November. Tickets are on sale now.
