Kasabian Tease 'Act III' With Second Single Great Pretender

Kasabian have shared another single from their upcoming ninth album.
Leaning into the Leicester band's signature psychedelia-infused indie-pop sound, Great Pretender was written by frontman Serge Pizzorno, who also produced it with Mark Ralph. Pizzorno said:
"Great Pretender is about imposter syndrome not as a weakness, but as a sign you’re on the edge of something real. It’s that feeling right before you step on stage, when the lights go down and it’s now or never."
Following their 2025 single Hippie Sunshine, the high-energy track marks the second preview of 'Act III', which is due out on July 17. Ahead of its release, the band will play Finsbury Park on July 4, their biggest London headline show to date, and make appearances at several festivals across the UK and Europe, including Boardmasters, TRNSMT, Victorious Festival and Mad Cool Festival. Tickets are on sale.
In addition to new music, Kasabian have also revealed they'll be the musical guest on the new Sky One Saturday Night Live UK this Saturday (April 4).
