Kasabian are back with a new single and details of a huge London show next summer.
Produced by frontman Serge Pizzorno, Hippie Sunshine serves up an upbeat mix of fuzzy guitars and punchy beats that feels made for a festival crowd.
It follows the Leicester band's reworking of G.O.A.T featuring Cristale for Sky's 2025/26 Premier League season coverage, and marks the first taster of their forthcoming album, 'Act III', due out next spring. It will follow up 2024's 'Happenings'. The band said:
"Hippie Sunshine is about the restless energy of hyper individuals who struggle to slow down and face reality, searching instead for the illusion of escape. It captures the passing moment where everything feels light and limitless, yet beneath it lies a deep sense of disconnection, something both beautiful and tragic."
The release comes alongside details of a huge performance at Finsbury Park on July 4, which will mark their biggest London headline show to date. Support will come from Louis Dunford, Razorlight, The K's, Miles Kane and Sofy, and tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (September 26).
