Sleaford Mods have announced a UK and Ireland tour for early next year.
The Nottingham duo will The band will kick off the run at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on February 6, before stops in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Oxford, Bristol, and Brighton. The tour also includes a homecoming performance at Rock City on February 27 and a date at London's O2 Academy Brixton on March 7.
The announcement comes on the heels of their new politically-charged track, Megaton, which marks their first new material since the release of their 2023 album 'UK Grim'. Proceeds from the single will be donated to the charity War Child. Sleaford Mods' Jason Williamson said:
"We took a year off ’cause I needed to get my nails did, and now we’re itching to get back out there and play live. We released a new single Megaton last week, it’s an absolute banger so we’re buzzing to play that live for the first time. Who knows, we might have a few more new tracks to drop by then. Either way, it’s been a while since we toured, and we’re gagging for it."
Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am on Friday (September 26), and £1/1€ from every ticket sold will be donated to War Child.
