Sleaford Mods are an British punk band from Nottingham, England, consisting of Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn.
Originally started as the solo project of Jason Williamson in 2006, the band became a duo in 2009. The pair of producers and songwriters share a knack for putting together gritty, yet catchy tracks, which they described as ‘electronic munt minimalist punk-hop rants for the working class’.
They released their self-titled debut in 2007, and have gone on to release seven more albums, with their latest, ‘Key Markets’, released in 2015, gaining them the most notoriety. They supported the release with live dates in spring and autumn, as well as appearances at festivals. The duo dropped their latest, ‘English Tapas’, on March 3, 2017, which they supported with USA and Canada dates followed by a European tour in May and UK shows.
Sleaford Mods have announced September shows in London prior to a hometown show in Nottingham. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.

If you’ve never seen Sleaford Mods perform (either in person or on YouTube or whatever) it will be difficult to get your head around ‘English Tapas’, the Nottingham duo’s latest album. If you have seen them, you’ll probably appreciate that their live show is less a traditional gig and more a situationist performance-poetry rave attended by devotional working class fans and worried-looking hipsters.
