Sleaford Mods Share Halloween Video For The Good Life Featuring Gwendoline Christie And Big Special

Sleaford Mods have unveiled a Halloween-themed video for The Good Life.
The song arrived earlier this month and serves as the opener of the Nottingham duo's new album, 'The Demise Of Planet X', due out on January 16 via Rough Trade Records. Actress Gwendoline Christie, known for her roles on Wednesday, Severance, and Game of Thrones, also features on the track alongside Midlands band Big Special.
The new video, directed by Ben Wheatley, who also helmed the original promo, captures a shadowy, strobing studio performance filmed in one take, with appearances from both Christie and Big Special.
Billed as Sleaford Mods' most expansive and ambitious project to date, the follow-up to 2023's 'UK Grim' also features guest appearances from former Life Without Buildings frontwoman Sue Tompkins, Aldous Harding, and fellow Nottingham artists Liam Bailey and MC Snowy.
It'll also include the band's earlier single Megaton, which they released in September, just before announcing their UK and Ireland tour for February and March. They'll also play shows in Australia and New Zealand in April. Tickets are on sale now.
