Chris Stapleton Shares White Horse Video Starring Josh Brolin

Chris Stapleton has shared a video for White Horse.
The track features on the multi-Grammy-winning country superstar's latest album, 'Higher', which arrived in November 2023.
The cinematic clip, meanwhile, was produced by Strange Arcade, directed by Running Bear Films, and shot on location in Marfa, Texas. It stars actor Josh Brolin, known for his roles in No Country For Old Men and True Grit, alongside Mae McKagan and Tommy Martinez, with appearances from Stapleton and his wife and collaborator, Morgane. Stephen Kinigopoulos and Alexa King Stone of Running Bear Films said:
"Listening to White Horse over and over again, we visualized a couple on the run and wanted to add some complexity with the parental sheriff relationship between Mae and Josh’s characters. What was just going to be an action-packed love story, also became a story about letting go and trust."
Since his last album Stapleton has released a number of songs, including Heart Letting Go from the Netflix series Nobody Wants This, A Song To Sing with Miranda Lambert, and Bad As I Used To Be from the soundtrack for the F1: The Movie.
He recently earned four nominations at the 68th annual Grammy Awards, including Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance, on top of his three Country Music Association Award nods for Best Entertainer, Male Vocalist, and Music Video of the Year.
His All-American Road Show will continue in early 2026, and includes An Evening with Chris Stapleton dates featuring his full band but no opener in Las Vegas, Oklahoma and Connecticut. Tickets are on sale now.
