Dopamine finds the Swedish singer-songwriter and producer as captivating as ever, delivering emotionally candid lyrics atop dynamic and propellant dance beats and synths.
She co-wrote the song with Taio Cruz and Klas Åhlund, and co-produced it alongside the latter, with mixing handled by Niklas Flyckt. Head below to check out the video, which was directed by Marili Andre. Introducing the track on social media, Robyn said:
"Dopamine. I’ve been working on this song for almost a decade and it feels so good to release it today. How great to have a body, how great to have a brain, how great to be alive."
The track is her first of the year and follows up her 2024 collaboration with Jamie xx on Life. Her last album, meanwhile, was 2018's 'Honey', but despite the new material there's currently no word on its follow-up.
