Robyn Announces Ninth Album 'Sexistential', Shares Title Track And Single Talk To Me

Robyn has laid out plans for her ninth studio album.
The Swedish pop star will release 'Sexistential' through Young/Konichiwa on March 27, following up 2018's 'Honey'.
Robyn co-produced the record with her longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund and describes it as, "like a spaceship coming through the atmosphere at a really high speed and crash landing. That’s how I felt, like I’d had all these experiences searching too far out into space, and now I’m crashing back into myself."
"Exploring my sensual life is the same feeling as when I make a good song," she added. "It’s such a beautiful kind of sensitive vibration that takes so much work to keep afloat. I feel like the purpose of my life is to stay horny — it doesn’t even have to be about sex, but it’s feeling sensual and attracted to things that I enjoy, and not letting anything take over that."
After dropping her comeback single Dopamine last November — her first new music in seven years — Robyn has now shared the album's title track, which she penned alongside Åhlund, as well as a song called Talk To Me, co-written with friend and hitmaker Max Martin. The former is a minimal, club-ready track that finds the Stockholm-born star rapping, while the latter is a synth-led dance-pop offering.
Robyn recently rang in 2026 with a sold-out New Year's Eve show in New York, following an intimate gig at Los Angeles' Fonda Theater in November.
