Bruno Mars has returned with news of his fourth studio album.
The American pop superstar will release 'The Romantic' through Atlantic Records on February 27, marking his first record as a solo artist since 2016's multi-Grammy-winning '24K Magic'.
Mars confirmed the news with a post on social media, revealing the record's release date and its cover art. He also teased a new single set to drop tomorrow (January 9), writing in the caption, "new music this Friday."
Alongside news of the album, the singer-songwriter and producer has announced a tour of the same name, which will head across North America in April and May, with a second US leg scheduled between late August and mid-October.
The European leg of The Romantic Tour will take place between June 20 and July 19, and will include two UK dates at London's Wembley Stadium on July 18 and 19.
Support will come from Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee.Wee on all dates, with Leon Thomas joining for the spring North American leg, Victoria Monét for the UK and European leg, and RAYE for the second US run. Tickets go on general sale at 12pm (midday) local time on January 15.
Since his last album, Mars teamed up with Anderson .Paak to form Silk Sonic, who put out their debut LP, 'An Evening with Silk Sonic', in 2021.
More recently, in 2024 he collaborated with both Lady Gaga on Die With A Smile and BLACKPINK's ROSÉ for APT. — the latter nominated in three categories at the upcoming 68th Annual Grammy Awards, including Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year — and Sexyy Red for Fat Juicy & Wet in 2025.
Mars rang in 2026 with a pair of New Year's shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, where he's performed more than 100 concerts since kicking off his residency back in 2016.
