The nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced.
Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Addison Rae, and Justin Bieber secured spots on the list, but Kendrick Lamar dominates with a leading nine nominations.
With 22 Grammy wins and 66 nominations, the Compton-rapper is up for Record, Song, and Album Of The Year, marking the third time he has been nominated in all three top categories simultaneously.
He has also scores multiple nods in rap categories for 'GNX', which is his fifth consecutive studio album up for Album Of The Year, a feat no other artist has achieved. A win would mark his first in the category and only the third time a rap album has taken the top prize, following OutKast's 2004 'Speakerboxxx/The Love Below' and Lauryn Hill's 1999 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'.
Lady Gaga, Jack Antonoff, and Canadian producer Cirkut follow with seven nominations each.
Gaga is up for Song, Record and Album Of The Year for 'Mayhem', marking her first time receiving nominations in all three categories simultaneously. She's also received nods in the Pop Solo Performance, Pop Vocal Album, Dance Pop Recording and Traditional Pop Vocal album categories.
Producer and musician Antonoff has earned two nominations each for Record, Album and Song Of The Year for his work with Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter, and received his first Rap Song nod for Lamar's TV Off featuring Lefty Gunplay.
Antonoff will also go head-to-head with Canadian record producer and songwriter Cirkut for Producer Of The Year, and Non-Classical. Cirkut has also scored multiple nominations for Record and Song Of The Year, as well as Album Of The Year and Best Dance and Best Electronic recording.
In addition to Gaga's 'Mayhem' and Lamar's 'GNX', the Album Of The Year category is rounded out by Carpenter's 'Man's Best Friend', Bad Bunny's 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos', Bieber's 'Swag', Clipse's 'Let God Sort Em Out', Leon Thomas' 'Mutt', and Tyler The Creator's 'Chromakopia'.
This year is the first time three albums have been up for both Rap Album and Album Of The Year: 'GNX', 'Let God Sort Em Out' and 'Chromakopia'.
First-time nominees this year include Tate McRae, Zara Larsson, PinkPantheress, JID, and Timothée Chalamet.
