Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Olivia Dean, FKA Twigs And Lady Gaga were among the winners at the 68th annual Grammy Awards ceremony yesterday.
London singer-songwriter Dean (pictured) won Best New Artist, while Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny took home Album Of The Year and Best Música Urbana Album for 'DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS' and Best Global Music Performance for EoO. It was an historical evening as it was the first time a Spanish-language album has won Album Of The Year.
Kendrick Lamar was the most successful of the evening, winning Best Rap Album for 'GNX', Record Of The Year and Best Melodic Rap Performance for Luther with SZA, and Best Rap Song for TV Off, as well as appearing on the Clipse track Chains & Whips alongside Pharrell Williams which received Best Rap Performance. Lamar also made history, as last night's wins brought his Grammy total to 27, surpassing Jay Z's record for most awarded rapper.
Song Of The Year went to Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas for Wildflower, Lola Young took home Best Pop Solo Performance for Messy, and Best Pop Vocal Album was won by Lady Gaga for 'Mayhem'.
Tame Impala received Best Dance/Electronic recording for End Of Summer, while Best Pop Dance Recording was taken by Lady Gaga for Abracadabra, and FKA Twigs won Best Dance/Electronic Album for 'EUSEXUA'.
Best Rock Performance went to YUNGBLUD Featuring Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman, and II for Changes (Live From Villa Park) Back To The Beginning, while Turnstile won Best Rock Album for 'Never Enough' and Best Metal Performance for Birds.
Best Rock Song went to Nine Inch Nails for As Alive As You Need Me To Be, The Cure took home Best Alternative Music Performance for Alone and Best Alternative Music Album for 'Songs Of A Lost World'.
Kehlani won Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song for Folded, Leon Thomas took home Best R&B Album for 'Mutt' and Best Traditional R&B Performance for Vibes Don't Lie.
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album went to Laufey for 'A Matter Of Time', Chris Stapleton won Best Country Solo Performance for Bad As I Used To Be from F1 The Movie, while Best Traditional Country Album was given to Zach Top for 'Ain't In It For My Health', and Jelly Roll won Best Contemporary Country Album for 'Beautifully Broken'.
The ceremony took place yesterday (February 1) at the Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, with many winners using their time at the podium to condemn ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
