Tooth have shared their debut single, The Age of Innocence.

Recorded at London's Church Studio with producer Kev Jones, known for his work with Wunderhorse, mixed by Vince Ratti — who has previously worked with Turnover and Scowl — and mastered by Will Yip, whose credits include Turnstile and Title Fight, the urgent garage-rock track marks the London newcomers' first release for Soil To The Sun Recordings. Guitarist-vocalist Tom Pollock said:

"It was written almost as an epilogue for my adolescence. I was almost 18 and could feel this restless and confused teenage chapter of my life slowly coming to a close. I realised how clueless I was as a teenager, but also how much fun I’d had.

"I think the lyrics reflect that duality and fondly reminisce on a period of life that can’t be experienced again. I think, for all of us, this song felt like the start and the end of something indefinable."

Head below to view the song's Hermione Sylvester-directed video, which captures the raw energy of Tooth's live show with footage of their performance in London late last year.

Fresh from another sold-out show at The Lexington in London last night (January 29), the four-piece will play the So Young Weekender this weekend in Southampton and Borderline Festival in Dublin in February. Tickets are on sale now.
