Neck Deep are a Welsh pop punk band from Wrexham, featuring frontman Ben Barlow, guitarist Matt West, bass player Fil Thorpe-Evans, drummer Dani Washington and guitarist Sam Bowden.
Formed in 2012, the band signed to Hopeless Records, and released their debut album, ‘Wishful Thinking’ in 2014. Their second release, ‘Life’s Not Out To Get You’, came out in 2015. The band released their latest album, ‘The Peace and the Panic’, on August 18, 2017. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as a co-headline tour with State Champs, having performed at festivals such as Slam Dunk Festival. Neck Deep returned to the UK and Ireland tour in October 2017 in support of ‘The Peace and the Panic’, before heading to North America to tour in early 2018. They also played Download Festival Australia in March, with a headline sideshow with You and Me, The Away Game, and Bearclaw Camp confirmed too. Neck Deep have Australia and North America tours planned for the rest of 2018 and into 2019. Then, in May, they hit up Wrexham's William Aston Hall.
