Father John Misty To Play One Night Only London Show In June, Shares New Song The Payoff

Father John Misty has announced a London show for next month.
Maryland artist Josh Tillman will headline the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 12, replacing his cancelled support slot for CMAT at London's LIDO Festival. The three-day event has now been reduced to a one-off date on August 31 to "protect park conditions", with Maribou State headlining.
Tillman's return to London is part of a wider European tour, which includes appearances at Primavera Sound Barcelona and Beyond The Pale Festival in Wicklow, Ireland. He also has US West Coast dates lined up later this month and Midwestern US and Canadian headline shows for the summer, as well as several festival slots.
The dates are in support of the singer-songwriter's latest album and sixth overall, 'Mahashmashana', released in 2024. Tickets for his new London show go on general sale at 10am next Friday (May 15). His other dates are on sale now.
Tillman has also shared a new song titled The Payoff, which serves up his signature cinematic blend of folk and orchestral pop and was co-produced with Drew Erickson. Released via Sub Pop, it follows his January single The Old Law. He also put out a collection of demos from the sessions for 2015's 'I Love You, Honeybear' LP last year.
