BST Hyde Park will host the second edition of PDC Presents The Hyde Park Darts Championship this summer.
Following the success of last year's debut, the PDC darts Pro-Am tournament featuring top players Luke Humphries, Fallon Sherrock, Nathan Aspinall and Stephen Bunting paired with a celebrity teammate, will take place on July 8 on the iconic venue's Great Oak Stage in front of a live audience. PDC Chief Executive Matthew Porter said:
"We’re delighted to see The Hyde Park Darts Championship return following the huge success of last year’s event. Having some of the sport’s biggest stars involved alongside well-known celebrity names creates a fantastic atmosphere and introduces darts to a wider audience in a unique setting. The Great Oak Stage provides an iconic backdrop for the event and we’re looking forward to another memorable evening as part of BST Hyde Park Open House."
The event, which features special guest broadcaster AJ Odudu, sports presenter Emma Paton, YouTuber Behzinga and presenter Joe Swash, who returns to defend his joint title with Sherrock, forms part of the BST Hyde Park Open House midweek series of events, alongside Davina McCall Move & Mind and Run with Mo!.
Headlining the musical line-up of the BST Hyde Park series will be Garth Brooks, ATEEZ, Maroon 5, Mumford and Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull, and Lewis Capaldi.
Tickets for PDC Presents The Hyde Park Darts Championship go on general sale at 12pm on Friday (May 29), with the ATEEZ show on sale at the earlier time of 10am. All other dates are on sale now.
