Vince Staples Shares Third Single Cotton Ahead Of 'Cry Baby' Release

Vince Staples has shared another single ahead of the release of his new album.
Built on a smooth, funk-leaning bassline, Cotton marks the third preview of 'Cry Baby', due out this Friday (June 5). Like earlier tracks White Flag and Blackberry Marmalade, it arrives alongside a striking video, with Staples offering little explanation and allowing the imagery to speak for itself.
The track comes after the Long Beach hip hop artist revealed on social media that he'll be live-streaming his sold-out album release show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 4).
He'll also play Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee next week, followed by a performance at Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland on August 20. He'll head to Europe later that month to support Tyler, The Creator at his headline show at London's All Points East series on August 28, and plays the MEO Kalorama Festival in Lisbon the following day. Tickets are on sale now.
