Asher White Announces New Album 'Love Aggregates' With New Single The eagle is no omen

Asher White has announced her second album of 2026.
The Brooklyn-based musician will release 'Love Aggregates' through Joyful Noise on August 28, following last year's '8 Tips For Full Catastrophe Living' and a full-album cover of Jessica Pratt's 2012 self-titled debut LP, released in February.
Written and recorded while '8 Tips For Full Catastrophe Living' was gaining attention, experimenting in the DIY studio where she regularly works, the recording of the album took place as her long-term relationship came to an end, following a difficult period of beytrayal and addition that marked her first experience of deep heartbreak. It shaped an album that reflected who she was as an artist while exploring emotions she had never written about before.
"It was the first time that I was like, Oh, someone is going to be hearing these songs," she said. "And also the first time that I was, like, actually upset while writing them."
Alongside the announcement, White has shared a new single, The eagle is no omen, an indie-folk offering that pairs gentle melodies with reflective songwriting. White describes it as "a comprehensive self-inventory that earnestly attempts to thread together: my relationship to substance, gender dysphoria, eating disorder, my grandfather’s recent passing, heartbreak, moral scrupulosity and the successful rehabilitation campaign of the American bald eagle, which was declared no longer endangered in 2007."
The album will also include White's April release, Nightingale Version (Sailor's Moon), a revamp of a track that originally appeared on her 2019 album 'In The Quarry'.
Following a short run of US dates in October, White will head to the UK and Ireland for shows in Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol and Brighton, alongside a set at Pitchfork Music Festival London on November 3. Tickets are on sale now.
