Getdown Services Tease 'Massive Champion' With New Single Cha Cha Slide

Getdown Services have shared another track from ther upcoming second album.
Described as the sadded song they've ever written, the understated Cha Cha Slide continues the Bristol duo's infectious, tongue-in-cheek songwriting style and follows their earlier tracks I Can’t Die Like That and The Radiator in previewing 'Massive Champion', due out through Breakfast Records on August 14. They said:
"This song is about the feeling of everyone else somehow knowing what to do. It’s about a feeling I’d get as a child that has never quite left me; that I just don’t really know what to do at social occasions. It’s about realising that trying to connect with and understand people is a lifetime of trial and error. It’s probably the saddest song we’ve ever written."
Having recently performed at the Harry Styles-curated Meltdown Festival at London's Southbank Centre, Josh Law and Ben Sadler will continue their UK and European festival run through the summer, which includes two performances at the Edinburgh Fringe, before embarking on their biggest UK and Ireland headline tour to date this autumn. They also have two hometown shows at Bristol's Beacon lined up in January 2027. Tickets are on sale now.
