Nickelback Announce 11th Album 'Everything Under The Sun' With John 5 Collaboration Rattle The Cage

Nickelback will release their 11th studio album this autumn.
The long-awaited follow-up to 2022's 'Get Rollin'' and its 2023 deluxe edition is titled 'Everything Under The Sun' and will arrive on October 30, marking the band's first full-length release for Virgin Music Group.
Alongside the announcement, the Grammy-nominated Canadian rockers have shared a new single, Rattle The Cage, featuring John 5, best known as the lead guitarist for Mötley Crüe and for his work with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson. Driven by heavy guitar riffs and big choruses, the track captures the relentless energy of the band's live shows, while its accompanying video premieres on YouTube tonight (July 14) at 8pm BST. Frontman Chad Kroeger explained:
"This album has every side of the band on it. There are songs that hit as hard as anything we've ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we've been doing this together for so long.
"Rattle The Cage felt like the perfect way to kick the door open - it has the energy we've been feeding off every night on stage, and we can’t wait for people to hear it."
The song follows the band's March single, Bones For The Crows, which marked their first new music in four years, though the album's full tracklist has yet to be revealed.
Since their last studio record, Nickelback have also released the three-track 'San Quentin' EP, featuring three new versions of the single San Quentin, in 2025, as well as their second live album, 'Live From Nashville', in 2024, and the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback in 2023. Most recently, they featured on the title track of Don Broco's 2025 album 'Nightmare Tripping'.
