New spring 2027 UK dates have been added to the ongoing tour celebrating Mike Oldfield's seminal albums.
The live group led and arranged by Oldfield’s longtime collaborator Robin Smith will perform new shows in Nottingham, York, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Gateshead, Eastbourne, Guildford, Basingstoke, Oxford, Birmingham, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, London, Poole and Brighton between March 1 and 22.
The dates will follow the group's previously scheduled autumn dates in Bexhill-on-Sea, Bromley, Aylesbury, Fareham and Southend in October, as well as shows across Europe from September 7 to October 4.
Each night of the tour, titled The Best of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells I, II & III, will feature highlights from his iconic albums, 'Tubular Bells' (1973), 'Tubular Bells II' (1992) and 'Tubular Bells III' (1998). Smith said:
"We have been lucky enough to tour our new reimagined version of Tubular Bells extensively around the world, a show that has been embraced by so many. We thought how wonderful it would be to incorporate music from all of Mike’s three major works so everyone can delight in his sensational themes and dramatic episodes."
Tickets for the new shows go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 17). The other dates are on sale now.
