Fat Mike Shares First Single Kids Of The K-Hole From Score For NOFX Career-Spanning Documentary

Fat Mike of NOFX has released the first single from the score accompanying the band's new documentary film.
'40 Years of Fuckin' Up: Soundtrack + Score' is set for release through Fat Wreck Chords on August 28 and is divided into two distinct components, an 11-song original score and a 15-song soundtrack.
The original score is composed by Fat Mike and performed alongside a full orchestra, with the strings laden Kids Of The K-Hole serving as the first track to be released. The soundtrack, meanwhile, includes the previously shared 40 Years of Fuckin’ Up, as well as We Did It Our Way, the final NOFX song the band wrote together, plus six rare and unreleased recordings, including Secret Society (demo), On The Road (demo), and a cover of La Bamba.
The career-spanning film, directed by James Buddy Day and executive produced by Cisco Adler, premiered at the 2026 SXSW Festival in March and is currently screening in select cinemas across North America, Australia, New Zealand and Italy. Head here for details and check out a trailer below.
"When NOFX started to put together this documentary, we decided to release it to the world in the same way we’ve done everything in our career. Our way," Fat Mike explained. "We want our fans to congregate in cool movie theaters that have bars and not a lot of rules. We want showings of this film to be a celebration. We want it to feel like you’re going to a NOFX show. We want our fans to have a really good time together like they did when they would see us play live!"
Last December, NOFX released their latest album, 'A to H', the first installment in their A to Z triple album project, featuring rarities, demos and never-before-heard tracks from their career. Before that, they put out 'Double Album' in 2022, followed by the companion five-track 'Half Album' EP in 2024.
