Echo And The Bunnymen Announce First New Album In 12 Years 'Apples For Isaac'

Echo and The Bunnymen have announced their 13th studio album, their first collection of newly written material in over a decade.
The Liverpool post-punks will release 'Apples For Isaac' on September 18, following 2014's 'Meteorites' and the 2018 compilation 'The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon'.
Produced by frontman Ian McCulloch, 10 of the album's 11 tracks feature drums by the late Clem Burke, the Blondie co-founder who died during the making of the record. Commenting on Burke's contributions, the band said:
"The mighty, legendary Clem Burke – longtime friend of Mac – was integral to the making of the album, and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion… love you Clem X"
To mark the news, Echo and The Bunnymen have shared the album's first single, Brussels Is Haunted, which combines shimmering guitars and soaring melodies to create their signature atmospheric, post-punk sound.
The band recently completed the North American leg of their Songs To Learn And Sing Tour and will headline Forest Fest in Emo Village, County Laois, Ireland next week. They'll also play two huge shows at London's Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in September and two nights at Glasgow's Barrowlands in December. Tickets are on sale.
