Los Bitchos Announce Collaborative Third Album 'Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1'

Los Bitchos have announced their third album.
The London-based, internationally assembled band will release 'Los Bitchos & Friends Vol 1' via GREAT! Records in association with !K7 Music on November 13, following 2024's 'Talkie Talkie'.
Although now a trio, Western Australian guitarist Serra Petale, Swedish bassist Josefine Jonsson and South London-born drummer Nic Crawshaw still consider themselves an instrumental group. However, while working on ideas for the new project in the early 2025, they started thinking about artists who could bring something new to their music. Jonsson said:
"It felt like a very natural progression. We were like, ‘Now it's the third one, how do we bring something new and interesting to our listeners?’”
Petale added: "It's so cool to hear different influences that have really meant something to you in your life – whether you're in the depths of a Swedish winter, or in a British summer, or you're in Australia sweating your ass off. Once you share that with people and bring that to life, it's really amazing. You get something really new and it pushes you as an artist. That's awesome."
Alongside the announcement, the band have shared Holding Cell, a swirling, guitar-driven psych-rock track featuring former King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard tourmate Ambrose Kenny-Smith. It arrives alongside a video directed by Kieron Banerji and Callum Baker at Finetuned and follows the band's earlier summer single Hang up (Pt 2), featuring Black Pumas' Adrian Quesada and Sudanese-American musician Sinkane.
Other collaborators on the album include Peruvian-influenced New Yorkers Chicha Libre, Simon Burke of The Meltdown and Kit Sebastian. Check out the full tracklist below.
Los Bitchos will continue their run of summer dates with a performance at Shambala Festival in Northamptonshire this week, followed by appearances at Great September Festival in Poland and Fiësta Futura Festival in the Netherlands.
