Fontaines D.C. will tour the UK and Europe this autumn.
The Grammy-nominated and BRIT Award-winning Dublin band, who are set to headline Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK and Electric Picnic in Ireland this week, have lined up 20 arena shows for their biggest headline outing to date.
The tour will kick off in Lisbon on October 21 before heading across the continent, stopping in Madrid, Barcelona, Bologna, Belgrade, Prague, Lodz, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris. They'll then perform across the UK from November 20 to 27, taking the stage at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, Manchester's AO Arena, Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Leeds' First Direct Arena, Birmingham's Utilita Arena and London's O2 Arena. Irish fans should stay tuned for more live news soon.
Support throughout the run will come from Belfast band Chalk, while tickets for all dates go on general sale at 10am BST/11am CEST on Thursday (September 3).
The announcement follows news of the band's fifth album, 'Dopamine Chamber', which is set for release via XL Recordings on October 16, following 2024's 'Romance' and last year's deluxe edition. The tracklist remains under wraps, but it'll include the recently shared first single, Marianne.
Next month, the band will head to the US for further festival appearances, including slots at Shaky Knees in Atlanta, Sea.Hear.Now in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California, alongside shows in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
